Things you need to know
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your treatment
- Minimum age: 18 years or a parent or legal guardian present to provide consent
- Hair must be at least 1/4 inch long.
- The day before your appointment, gently exfoliate the area using a washcloth or mild scrub. This helps remove dead skin cells and allows the wax to reach the hair more effectively.
- Please shower and cleanse the area thoroughly on the day of your appointment. This is important for hygiene and ensures the wax adheres properly to the hair rather than surface oils.
- Try to schedule your appointment 3-5 days before or after your menstrual cycle for minimal sensitivity. Your skin tends to be more sensitive during this time.
- Must stop using Accutane (Isotretinoin) for a minimum of six months before waxing, and prescription-strength exfoliants must be discontinued for at least seven days prior.
